Journal File - The Right Way To Make A Journal File?

By Daniel Turbin

A magazine file is a journal case in which you place magazines that you own for storage. You store them in a journal holder so that you can manage them (to avoid loss) and to organize them as per the magazine title, topic, yr, etc. Organization would probably help you find the journals again, in the event you recover some new leisure time to sit back and read old catalogues. The following measures to create journal stands should be of great assistance to enthusiastic readers.

First, make use of the ruler and make measurements to cut on a cereal container or container of some sort. You must find the one-inch measurement from the top and side of the box and mark it with your marker. Then, measure one-half inch from the top of the other side of the box right down to two-thirds of an inch (on the side of the container). The region at which you may cut the side will measure two-thirds of an inch from the top of the box. You should make the incisions to remind yourself of the area to cut and then make the cut.

Next, bring the two pieces together. Make certain that the two parts have one inside the other. Tall sides should be opposite each other. Cut the outside layer of the container where the two sides meet. As soon as the two pieces are linked, the next measure would be to cover your cereal container.

What if you want to be a little more creative than the normal journal case? To be a little more innovative, make a horizontal journal holder, can be a plastic magazine file. To make a horizontal holder, you would need to close up the open area of your container by using duct tape as the sealer. The horizontal magazine holder forces the open areas of the container to be closed-since the open areas would simply cause the catalogs to drop out when you relocate the case side-ways. Tape the edges and corners and then leave one side untapped.

Take the area which is free of tape, measure down an inch beneath it, and cut the region at the measurement off of the box. The objective is to make the container small compared to the magazines that hold it. This helps you, the journal reader, when you get ready to visit your journals and find the one you need to read. Lastly, cover the box with the paper that you pick and decorate it by any means you choose.

A colorful magazine file is well-known for its selection of colours that you may select from when selecting what color to paint your journal file. You may use a present or shelf cover of a particular color to wrap around your cereal box or cardboard container when making your magazine case. If you want to cover a particular selection of catalogs in the colour red-which symbolizes romance-you can do that. If one set of catalogs is about home interior design, you might need to wrap them in gold or silver gift wrap. If a magazine collection is a Christmas collection, you might want to cover the journal holder in two colors, red and green (or maybe a third, "white," if you wish). If you own a real estate magazine subscription and read through your real estate journals avidly, you may cover them in "green" wrapper-when you see the colour, it will make you consider the green grass and magnificent acres of land that are up for sale.
