Paint Like a Pro Using Photoshop Paintbrush Tool

Learning to use the paintbrush in Photoshop is easy with Photoshop Fast Track. You will be creating original works of art within minutes.

The Photoshop paintbrush has more uses than you might imagine. When you get good with the paintbrush you will be able to create some awesome graphics. Photoshop has two types of paintbrushes you will be using.

Airbrush. The first type of paintbrush you can find in Photoshop is the airbrush. This paintbrush tool is identical to using a can of spray paint. It basically sprays the paint on to the image or canvas.

Photoshop allows the user maximum control by letting you adjust the diffusion or amount of paint being applied as well as the rate it is being applied to in the canvass. There are many different brush sizes and shapes you can use.

Paintbrush. The paintbrush tool is a lot more like using an actual paintbrush and applying real paint by hand. Almost the same as using a real paintbrush, the virtual paintbrush in Photoshop can use paint in a more even distribution as opposed to using the airbrush tool.

It's really fun experimenting with different options that is readily available for creating digital works of art using paintbrush in Photoshop. The best thing about this is that you don't need to worry yourself with mistakes as you would on a traditional canvas using real paint. This is especially true if you're working in layers. If you are not satisfied with your results you can just delete that layer and try something else.

Knowing the different Photoshop effects will not just give an individual the satisfaction of realizing he's been successful in learning a new skill. With regular practice, creativity and a bit of an imagination, a person can even have their own business using Photoshop effects as his product.
